When I was first diagnosed I lived off prescription bread - horrid stuff, and there was little in shops, except for like holland and barrett. I guess i'm lucky being diagnosed so young beause I don't remember before or remember what 'normal foods' are :)
Awwe. I’m pretty worried about having kids because I don’t want to pass it on to my kids. BUT I would think it would in fact be easier if you never had “normal food” before. I’ve been struggling with my diet lately but I’m finally back on track. Do you ever want “normal food”?

Be extremely careful. Your nutritionist is correct. We don’t use some of the same things like toasters as normal food. Even butter. Be careful with cross contamination. Especially your first year. Also try to stay away from dairy and alcohol while trying to heal your intestines. I also found this vitamin on the Gluten Free Mall website that is called CeliAct and I saw really good reviews. I’m ordering some on payday. (: <3

I was tested for Celiac disease and it came back negative. I still experienced extreme belly cramps that would worsen if i ate certain food. I had been a vegetarian for five years prior, when i finally made the switch over. I became gluten free and vegan. Fantastic results! i found out that 9 out of 10 ppl(w/ celiac) tested for Celiac come back negative

I apparently, for over a month, had a bacterial infection in my small intestine. I finished heavy duty anti biotics and I'm doing ten times better. I'm following this blog because digestive issues should be discussed more, out in the open. My father has Crohn's Disease, I have IBS and I'm Lactose Intolerant.
